Uganda Hands for Hope report about funding support
Here is the report received from our partners Uganda Hands for Hope about funding they recently received from us.
In January 2017, our long time partners, Tŷ Cariad Africa made a further generous donation to Uganda Hands for Hope. After discussions internally, it was decided to put this money towards new school benches as we had recently expanded our provision of primary education to include an additional 2 classes, therefore allowing more of the children that we support to receive education in house.
The 2 new classes were originally using the wooden benches that we normally use in the younger classes; however they were very small, lacked space and were generally not adequate for the older children we were now teaching. The new benches are now bigger and much better suited for their purpose. They were made by a trusted local welder in house to ensure that the final product was one which was strong, durable and of a high quality. UHfH and our children are very happy with the new benches which have been made and we know that they will continue to be put to good use for many years to come. We wish to thank Tŷ Cariad Africa for their continued kind support towards our organisation which is very much appreciated.
