Sian's Room

Sian Thomas, a family member of one of the trustees, sadly passed away Christmas 2012 at a very young age. Sian was a teacher and was looking forward to visiting the children’s home in Uganda.

Following Sian’s tragic death, £10,000 was raised to build an education unit called “Sian’s Room” with a library, lounge, books, puzzles and games, together with a laptop room and five laptops.

Work commenced in October 2013, and was officially opened in November 2014. The building now stands as a lasting memory to Sian, and in this beautiful peaceful room, children are taught, and enjoy reading.
