About 1 week ago, Pastor Paul Musisi was involved in a motor accident. Pastor Paul heads up Caring Heart Breakthrough Ministries in Kampala, Uganda www.caringheartbm.net and feeds many orphans and widows each week, as well as leading a great church – more can be read about his church at www.paulbangs.co.uk following a recent ministry trip. Some of the children at Tŷ Cariad Africa have come from Caring Heart Breakthrough Ministries.

This was written by Paul Thomas, following a hospital visit on 25th June.

“Paul is in severe pain – it’s a miracle that he is still with us!!! He was a passenger on a Boda Boda when a taxi minibus pulled out in front of them hitting them head on at speed. The Boda Boda driver was killed instantly and Paul sustained a fractured femur to his right leg and multiple fractures to his left hand and wrist (the same one he broak earlier this year). His broken thigh bone has been pinned and his hand and wrist fractures been set and plastered. He also has severe bruising to the right side of his head and minor cuts to his face and mouth. These injuries should heal well and leave little or no scaring.

Up to now his surgery costs have come to over 3,000,000 Ug.Sh. NOT including the drugs he has been given or is to receive!!!

The cost of his bed is 250,000Ug.Sh. per day and he is expected to say in hospital for at least another fourteen days!!!
I have one of my old mobile phones to give him, his was stolen at the accident. I’ve bought a new sim card and loaded 30,000Ug.Sh. worth of airtime.

He was thrilled to see me and exclaimed “I can’t believe how much love you people are showing to me”. His eyes filled up and he began to cry – thanking God for his love and mercy. I was able to spend some time in prayer with him, praying for a full recovery and thanking God for saving his life and for his divine protection.”

UPDATED COSTS INVOLVED

As at Sunday 27th June, costs are as follows:-

Prayer

Please can we pray for a swift recovery for Pastor Paul, and that the rest of the finances will come in for him.

On Saturday 19th June the annual festival at Llangranog, “Nol a M’lan”, took place. Tŷ Cariad Africa once again had a jewellery and information stall.

A great time was had by all – good company, great music, lovely Welsh cakes!!

We also managed to sell just under £300 worth of Ugandan jewellery. The jewellery is purchased from local Ugandan shops and so helps their local economy. We then sell it in the UK to raise awareness of the work of Tŷ Cariad Africa and then all proceeds go to Tŷ Cariad Africa.

A big thank you to all who helped and to all who purchased on the day.
